For a day adventure, Cody and I decided to go down to a train tressel by his house, where we picked ourselves a big bag of rocks and sling shotted them off. How romantic

Flowers for a pretty lady

The last two are my faves, I love moody lighting =]

My friend Amanda showed me a bunch of photos on her camera of flowers which sort of inspired me to go take pictures of flowers. She told me how much she loved pictures of them so I guess these are for her.

"SHINE"

The point was to portray the word 'shine', which is slightly more difficult to be creative with when you're not allowed to use people.

Project photos.

The first assignment was to take 2 different photos of the same thing, where the subject was in the top portion of the photo (using rule of thirds) and one where the subject was in the bottom portion. So these are my two photos.

Our second assignment was doing a portrait shot using the rule of thirds. This photo took a while to get right because it was getting dark outside, so the shutter had to be excruciatingly slow, and I had to make a tripod out of rocks. But finally, it is thus.

We had a third assignment and that was just repetition so this is my repetition photo.

This week my word challenge for photography was "motion". I wouldn't mind so much giong with the cars in the dark but... I wanted to not do that because I knew some other ladies in my group might have pictures of that so I went with something I knew well, dance. So I invited my favorite little buddy Kelly over with her tutu and pointe shoes, and she spun for me, ending in thus.
